Who we are

This website is operated by FLD Electrical Ltd (trading as FLD Solar and Electrical), company number 12030033, registered at Suite 2, Riverside House, Normandy Road, Morfa Industrial Estate, Swansea SA1 2JA. What we collect

We only collect the information you choose to give us through our enquiry forms, by email, or by phone:

• Your name, and company name where relevant
• Your email address and phone number
• The site location or postcode and the project details you describe

Our web host also keeps standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to keep the site running. We do not use these to identify you personally.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your details solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quotation, and carry out any work you ask us to do. Our lawful bases under UK GDPR are your consent (given when you tick the box on a form), our legitimate interest in responding to genuine enquiries, and where you go on to engage us, the performance of a contract. We never sell your data or use it for unrelated marketing.

Who processes it for us

To deliver enquiries reliably we use a small number of trusted processors:

• Formspree - routes form submissions to us by email
• Supabase - securely stores enquiries so we don't lose them
• Netlify - hosts this website

Each processes data on our instructions under its own data-protection terms. We share your details with no one else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details only as long as needed to deal with your request and any resulting work, plus a reasonable period afterwards to meet our legal, accounting and warranty obligations. When data is no longer needed, we delete it.

Your rights

You have the right to ask us to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to request portability. To exercise any of these, email paul@fldelectrical.co.uk.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
